"Ben"
( Ch.Engel's Badger Boy X Engel's Candlelight Twinkle)
born at Ultraa. Ben's mother, Candle, whelped very quickly and
easily, but then didn't want to take care of her babies. We managed
to raise Ben and 2 of his brothers, despite some difficulty during the
first few weeks of their lives. At 9 weeks, I decided that Ben had to
stay, even though we didn't need another male dog around. At 10
weeks, Ben came into the house for some housetraining, etc, and
that was the end of that........he stayed and has been here ever
since........our favorite housedog, our constant companion and one of
those dogs that only comes around once or twice in a lifetime. It sure
doesn't hurt that he's also produced some of our best Corgis and is
the grandsire and great-grandsire of many more of the "good" ones.
His first time in the ring at age 6 mths, 4 days of age
